Decorative Applications
Metallized film adds an upscale reflective look that adds perceived value to a product. Decorative applications include
holographic decoration, paperboard lamination, metal transfer, light reflecting decals, sports cards and mailers, mirror
applications, and balloons.
Barrier Applications
Adding a metallic layer to film increases a package's impermability to oxygen, light and moisture. Metallized film is used
as a barrier in packaging for processed fruits and vegetables, beverages, snack foods, confections, coffee, and tobacco
products. It is formed into bag-in-box bags, pouches, sacks, or other packages.
